Treasure Mountain Ragdolls
I began my Ragdoll cattery in 1999, with the purchase of two cats that were more expensive than I ever dreamed I'd spend for cats, and they weren't the slightest bit interested in each other.
My foundation stud, Biff, was the joke of the town. "Get him kitty Viagra", they said. "Call Dr. Ruth!" they said.
A few years later I sprang for another female, Sasha, and we had a litter of the most beautiful kittens imaginable. We registered Biff with the name, "The Potentate". That was a long time ago, and I have been very particular about my genetics...I love the old style, classic Ragdolls, with loving, sane, intelligent temperaments. I have shipped them all over the world.
Our place is in the foothills of the Rockies, north of Fort Collins, Colorado. We have New Zealand Kiko Goats, Colorado Mountain Dogs,
Andalusian Horses, and a variety of poultry. We're musicians, and we have a recording studio here, and an art studio, as well as looking after our personal zoo.
My oldest livestock guardian dog, Caspian, considers the Ragdolls his sheep...so the kittens grow up with a huge 120 pound white mountain of a canine in the livingroom. The years roll by and now we have Biff's great grandson "The Potus" just assuming his kingly duties, a fantastic seal bicolor who is Mr. Personality. Each year gets better, and we're looking forward to the future.
Our kittens are all raised in our home with us. We don't use or own cages.
